BlastBlock is the ideally designed material to improve the STC from your house. You can either insert it into your drywall or just add it with BlastFelt to your existing (concrete/brick) walls.

Drywall improvement (existing and new)
Drywalls are a simple and fast way to separate rooms and even houses. It’s the most applied construction in houses, apartments etc.
A negative property of these walls can be noise nuisance, if not installed properly or with the necessary accessories the sound transmission loss might not be enough at your liking.
Adding BlastBlock MLV will vastly improve the noise transmission loss. One can easily improve the noise reduction with 5 – 10 dB(A) which is huge indeed. Just add a layer of BB830 (it’s only 3 mm thick) to either side of the drywall (glue or screw to the gypsum) and you will get your results, simple as that. Just make sure all joints are properly sealed and there are no openings !
