Low-Emission Soundproofing
BlastBlock supplies soundproofing materials intended for use in occupied buildings. The acoustic optimized MLV range is formulated without brominated flame retardants, and VOC and material data are available on request for projects that have to document indoor air quality.
BB830 Standard MLV: The flagship grade, aluminium faced, 3 mm at 4.9 kg/m² and rated STC 32 dB. Suitable for bedrooms, nurseries, home offices and other spaces where air quality matters.
BB830FR Fire-Rated: The fire-retardant grade, fire tested to AS/NZS 1530.3 with indices 0/0/0/7, for hotels, hospitals, schools and commercial buildings that need both fire classification and acoustic performance.
BB830LF Low-Frequency: Engineered for bass blocking at 5 mm and 10 kg/m², Rw 32 dB. For home theatres, recording studios and industrial applications where low-frequency noise control is critical.
